Synopsis

A comic tale of the unrequited affections of Harry Benn for Mrs Waters the landlady of The Beehive Inn. Harry resolves to prove she needs a ‘man’ and enlists the help of one Ned Travers. Harry conspires that Ned should burgle The Beehive in order that Harry can rush in and win his prize – but does he?
