Synopsis

Local artist Donna Borg is delighted to be returning to the Abbey Theatre with another exhibition as part of Herts Open Studios.

Donna specialises in portraits, still life and landscapes of St Albans and beyond. The exhibition is free to attend and there will be many original paintings available for purchase, including some of her recent paintings of St Albans, as well as limited edition prints.

The opening night is Saturday 9 September from 6–9pm. Visitors will be able to enjoy a drink at the bar and a free glass of prosecco on arrival. This opening event is free but ticketed, so please book online via the box office.

Donna will be running a Still Life Workshop on Sunday 10 September, 10.30am–1.30pm in the Studio. The workshop is open to all levels of experience, with a minimum age of 12. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who does not need to register for the workshop. Drawing materials and refreshments will be provided. Click here for more details.

Donna will also be doing several painting demonstrations throughout the duration of the exhibition where people will be able to watch her painting process and ask questions.
