Matt Hughes-Short has successfully completed his 24- hour rowathon, raising money for both the Abbey Theatre and the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Matt’s heroics took place against a celebratory weekend of entertainment and activities, including performances from The Polka Dots, Madrigal Choir, McLaren Wall, Dewi Williams, Dacorum Dance Community, Clover Singing Club, St Albans Youth Musical Theatre and Kings of Herts.
Company of Ten member Matt has been passionate about raising awareness of lung cancer since his Dad passed away from the disease in 2012. The row presented Matt with the opportunity to give something back to two causes close to his heart.
You can still donate to Matt’s cause by visiting his sponsorship page here: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/24hourrowmhs
