To support study of English and Drama at GCSE and A Level, the Company of Ten piloted an education programme to run alongside its production of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein in February and March 2018. As well as offering a special schools’ performance and post-show talk, we have released a number of accompanying resources to facilitate further learning in the classroom.
Learn about the process of interpreting the novel for the stage with a free Education Pack, which also includes practical exercises to engage your students with its themes and characters. The Education Pack can be downloaded here.
Follow the production from initial concept and design to the final performance with a series of behind-the-scenes videos about the creative process. In the first of the series, Dennis O’Connell-Baker discusses production design.
In the second of the series, Ian Crawford discusses sound design.
In the third of the series, Lesley Ivinson discusses costume design.
