The Abbey Theatre donates performances to local charities, and for our production of George Orwell’s 1984 the chosen charity was Youth Talk.

They tell us: ‘For young people, life can feel completely overwhelming. Youth Talk is a pioneering local community charity providing free, confidential counselling to 13–25-year-olds in St Albans and surrounding areas, delivered by experienced professionals without judgement. We’ve been supporting young people for over 20 years and the need has never been greater.’
