Synopsis

Based on the 1988 Pedro Almadova film, this stage adaptation is the creation of David Yazbek, the Tony award winning composer of The Band’s Visit. It premiered on Broadway in 2010 and was produced in the West End in 2015, with two Olivier Award nominations.

The musical tells the tale of a group of women in late 20th-century Madrid whose relationships with men lead to a tumultuous forty eight hours of love, confusion and passion.
