Synopsis

Baron Zeta, the Pontevedrin Ambassador to Paris, attempts to convince Count Danilo Danilovitch to marry the rich widow Hanna Glawari in order to keep her millions in their impoverished homeland. Unaware of their past attachment, Zeta’s plan is fraught with problems.

After a long wait, SACO are delighted to bring you Lehár’s wonderful and well-known tunes, woven into scenes full of humour, pathos, misunderstanding and love.
