Synopsis

The ever-popular STAJE Big Band returns for its Spring Concert.

Formed in 2010, STAJE has been entertaining theatre audiences with its high-energy performances covering a broad spectrum of Jazz, Blues and Soul. From beloved standards to cool 70s Jazz-Funk, from Latin to Soul, STAJE in Concert always promises an evening of exciting and varied music making.

This time they welcome back three of their regular vocalists, Danielle Cresswell, Lucy Lock and Emma Barry, as well as a collective of fantastic local musicians. There will be some brand-new pieces arranged specifically for the night, including Mike Carubia’s excellent Swinging At The Club and a new arrangement of the Jerome Kern classic Can’t Help Loving That Man of Mine to name but a few.
