Synopsis

On a chilly night in London, schoolteacher Kyra Hollis receives an unexpected visit from Tom Sergeant, her one-time lover. The pair have pulled away from each other physically, emotionally, and ideologically. As they move between tender passion and vicious political polemics, the lines between past and present begin to blur.

David Hare is one of the UK’s foremost playwrights and screen directors. Skylight is witty, dramatic and as rewarding today as it was when it opened. A recent revival of this play featuring Bill Nighy and Carey Mulligan was a huge success both at the National Theatre and on Broadway.
