Synopsis

The Abbey Theatre is hosting the launch of a new community initiative, the Friends of Verulamium Park.

The group is being formed to give a voice to all park users. They will work to enhance the wildlife, beauty and archaeological significance of the park and to offer a welcoming and informative experience for visitors.

The free launch meeting on 15 April will include:

• Presentations on planned improvements and their impact on wildlife
• An opportunity to share ideas for preserving and improving the park
• Encouragement for residents to join this group dedicated to protecting and celebrating Verulamium Park

Doors open at 7pm and the event will begin at 7.30pm. The bar will be open before and after the meeting.
