Our first show of the season – Home, I’m Darling – welcomed back the Rotary Club of St Albans to the charity night, with the proceeds helping the local community in all sorts of ways. For example, the Rotary Fun Day provides a special day out for disadvantaged children and those with disabilities, and they also fund specific projects such defibrillator installations.

Globally, Rotary projects range from small to large: water wells and playground, sending Shelter Boxes to those made homeless by climate events or war. They are proud to have been partners in the global End Polio Now campaign since it began in 1979 which has reduced polio outbreaks by 99.9%.
