Thanks to COVID-19, most of us aren’t getting out as much as usual. Worse still, the closure of the theatres (and there’s a line that hasn’t been written in anger since the seventeenth century) means live performances are entirely off the agenda.

Well, almost. We’re happy to say that the folk over at What’s On Stage have been compiling a list of stage shows, muscals and opera you can watch online for free. The list is here and the writers promise to keep updating it over the coming weeks.

The site links to shows such as The Wind in the Willows, King Lear, The League of Gentlemen, Cyprus Avenue and the hit fringe production, Timpson the Musical.

Also, two guys known as The Drama Geezers are putting up lots of stuff for primary school aged children here.

Enjoy, but not too much – we still want to see you back at the Abbey Theatre when all this is over!
