Our recent production of Richard Bean’s comedy To Have and To Hold featured a special performance that benefited two important charities.
The Hertfordshire Federation of Women’s Institutes (HFWI) supports nearly 70 local WIs across the county, fostering friendship, learning, and community action. Established in 1919, it offers a vibrant programme of events – from arts and crafts to public affairs – encouraging women to develop skills and connect with others. Based in Wheathampstead, HFWI champions inclusivity and empowerment through monthly meetings, workshops and campaigns.
The Lord’s Taverners exists to positively impact the lives of young people facing the challenges of inequality. They work in Hertfordshire, across the UK and beyond to provide inclusive and impactful cricket programmes. These empower young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities to develop the knowledge, skills, capabilities and confidence required to overcome the challenges of inequality, raise their aspirations and reach their potential.
Look out for more charity nights at the theatre.
