Support the Abbey Theatre team in the Charity Cycle Ride!

A team from the Abbey Theatre participated in the 2019 St Albans Charity Cycle Ride on Sunday 19 May to raise funds for the Theatre.

Members of the team chose to cycle 10, 20, 30 or 40 miles (depending on their fitness and enthusiasm) through the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, starting at Oaklands College and following various routes up to Hitchin and back.

This year’s ride was the 25th organised by the Rotary Clubs of St Albans, but the first that the Abbey Theatre entered.

This sponsorship event is now closed and our sincere thanks to all who sponsored our gallant team. We hope they will be back in 2020 raising more money for the continued provision of a local theatre run by volunteers that supports community organisations.
