In addition to our enhanced cleaning regime during the pandemic, the Abbey Theatre has been ‘fogged’ to further protect our members and audience.
We chose Mark Coltman of local business Evolution Environmental because the product he uses is an environmentally friendly mist that bonds to all surfaces and dries in 45 minutes. There is no sticky residue, lasting dampness or impact on health – and the product protects against the virus for 30 days.
We continue to follow guidelines for daily cleaning and we’re doing everything we can to ensure the safety of everyone in our building.
If you visit our theatre, you’ll find a one-way system, temperature checking, hand sanitising stations and seated drinks service. We ask everyone to wear a face covering throughout their visit. Some front of house staff will wear face shields while in the foyer and face coverings in the auditorium to accommodate the needs of all our customers.
Thank you for supporting our theatre during this difficult time. We’re working hard to find a balance between returning safely to live theatre and protecting everyone who comes here. If you think we’ve missed something, please let us know and we’ll do our best to address your concerns.
