Theatre closure: important information

Quick Book

Please choose a production

Posted on: 5 January 2021

After a difficult year in 2020, we now find ourselves in national Lockdown#3, following the Prime Minister’s announcement on 4 January 2021. The theatre is once again closed and there is no clear indication about when we might be able to reopen to the public.

Regretfully, this means that we are unable to go ahead with our January production of Endgame, and as the licence to broadcast or live-stream is not available, it has to be postponed until we are able to welcome audiences in person.

It is also unlikely, for the same reason, that Stones In His Pockets, due to be performed in mid-February, will be able to go ahead as planned.

We are hopeful that, with the combination of a national lockdown and the vaccination programme, we will start to see a decline in COVID-19 numbers and it may be possible to reopen our doors in the spring. Be assured that we are as eager as you to return to the theatre, and we are metaphorically waiting in the wings for our cue.

Thank you for your continuing support. We wish you all a very happy, safe and healthy 2021
