Rotary has taken the charity slot for our current production of Things I Know To Be True, enjoying a private performance and raising money by almost selling out our main auditorium.

Rotary is a global organisation of business and professional people who provide help for less fortunate people of all ages throughout the world. It is non-political and is open to men and women whatever their race, colour or creed, who want to make the world a better place.

Among their activities are fundraising concerts and events, the annual St Albans Charity Cycle Ride, the Technology Tournament for secondary schools, the Young Chef Competition, and the Youth Speaks competition.

They generally raise and spend around £25k per year. Two thirds goes to local charities and in recent years they have supported Grove House, Keech Cottage Hospice, Marie Curie, Centre 33, Alzheimers Society,  St Albans Special Olympics and many others.
