It’s Oxford 1915, and American poet T. S. Eliot is captivated by the beautiful but highly-strung Vivienne Haigh-Wood.

Their whirlwind romance leads to a tempestuous marriage. But as Tom finds literary acclaim, Viv’s increasingly erratic behaviour becomes harder to endure…
