Two estranged brothers meet at their childhood home to agree a price for the furniture of their late father with Solomon, a shrewd antiques-dealer.
As the brothers reminisce, conflicting memories of the past ignite tension and bitterness, and they are forced to question the much wider cost of life itself, where every decision comes at a price.

The playwright Arthur Miller, perhaps most famous for All My Sons, Death of a Salesman, The Crucible and A View from the Bridge, won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1947. Nicholas Hytner described him as ‘the last of the great titans of the American stage.’ The Price was nominated for two Tony Awards, including best play.
