How to sponsor a seat

We are offering the opportunity to sponsor a specific seat in the Main Theatre (£500) or an unspecified seat in the Studio (£300). To make it easy for you to do this online, we’ve set up two Sponsor a Seat events that will never actually take place. You choose a complimentary seat for one of these events and you will be asked to make the appropriate donation when checking out.

If you are a UK taxpayer and make (or have previously made) a Gift Aid declaration to us, the tax man will automatically increase your donation at no cost to you by £125 (Main Theatre) and £75 (Studio).

Please note: our system will only ask you for a donation once each time you login so if you change your mind after you have chosen a seat and added your donation, please empty your basket, logout and login again before selecting another seat. Similarly, should you wish to sponsor more than one seat please checkout to complete the first transaction then logout and login again before selecting an additional seat.

Sponsor a seat in the Main Theatre

  • Click on the Sponsor a Main Theatre seat button below and choose the seat you would like to sponsor.
  • Proceed to the Checkout where you will be asked to make a donation of £500.
  • Choose
    Continue With Donation
  • Enter the inscription (maximum 24 characters) that you would like to appear on your sponsored seat into the Recognition Name field on the donation page. (We will use your name if you leave this field blank).
  • If you have not yet completed a Gift Aid declaration you will be asked to do this.
  • Complete the transaction as normal.

Sponsor a Main Theatre seat

Sponsor a seat in the Studio

  • Click on the Sponsor a Studio seat button below and enter 1 as the number of seats.
  • Proceed to the Checkout where you will be asked to make a donation of £300.
  • Choose
    Continue With Donation
  • Enter the inscription (maximum 24 characters) that you would like to appear on your sponsored seat into the Recognition Name field on the donation page. (We will use your name if you leave this field blank).
  • If you have not yet completed a Gift Aid declaration you will be asked to do this.
  • Complete the transaction as normal.

Alternative ways to sponsor a seat

If you would like to sponsor a seat but are unable to pay the full amount in one go, you may pay in ten installments of £50/£30 a month.

Top up an existing seat sponsorship

A few of our earlier seat sponsors have asked us whether they can ‘top up’ their existing sponsorship instead of sponsoring a new seat. If this applies to you please click here and simply make a donation to the seating fund.
