Ibsen classic building up nicely


Rehearsals for our upcoming classic, The Master Builder, are well underway.

The play, by Henrik Ibsen, is presented in a new version by acclaimed playwright David Edgar, famed for the RSC adaptation of Nicholas Nickleby.

When The Master Builder was produced in Chichester in 2010, reviewers raved. The Daily Telegraph spoke of ‘the strangeness, simplicity and quiet terror, too, of a fairy tale’ and concluded that the production was ‘riveting’ but ‘unnerving’.
