Heights ‘bravely’ climbed by Company

The Herts Advertiser has congratulated the Company of Ten on its chutzpah in staging Wuthering Heights and drawn attention to a number of performances which were a ‘delight to watch’.

Critic Madeleine Burton noted that ‘rarely, if ever, does an adaptation of a great novel transfer successfully to the stage’ but was positive about the lead performances, the direction and the ‘lavish costumes and period detail’.

The Company’s next production will be The Railway Children – which promises to be every bit as lavish.
