Hear Melvyn check out Chekhov

Last week, Lord Bragg dedicated an episode of his Radio 4 show In Our Time to Anton Chekhov, whom he described  as one of history’s ‘most perceptive and influential writers’.

You can access a recording of this show on BBC iPlayer here.

And when you’ve been inspired, don’t forget to book your tickets for Chekhov’s  The Cherry Orchard on our Main Stage in May. We’re presenting the recent Tom Stoppard translation, which is rich in humour as well as poignancy.
