Director promises ‘cracking’ Tom & Viv

Director Tim Hoyle has promised to a playful approach to our next Studio production, Tom & Viv.

The play is about the poet TS Eliot’s relationship with his first wife, Vivienne Haigh-Wood. The BBC described it as ‘one of the greatest plays of the twentieth century.’

However autobiographical it might seem, Tim sees the play as ‘a fiction about actual people and events’. That being the case, he promises to avoid the usual traditions of Studio productions and ‘turn things around a bit.’

The emphasis is still, of course, on presenting a ‘cracking play’.

Tickets for this production are selling fast – some nights are nearly sold out – so book now to avoid disappointment. (Our last Studio production sold out, so be warned!)
